When I started on the eCommerce team at prAna.com back in 2009, eCommerce wasn’t even a widely used term. We certainly didn’t even call our team that. We were a brand that survived the crisis of 2008 and everyone wore many hats. It was an amazing work culture where everyone was 100% available to help each other at any time. It was here that my passion for eCommerce started.

As the company grew more profitable the eCommerce team became ever more important. I worked cross-functionally between IT, Merchandising and Customer Experience to bridge any gaps in communication in an effort to provide the maximum UX experience that would covert site visitors to shoppers. My team and I reviewed user analytics, conducted UX reviews before any new updates, features or site-flips were made live and brought new ideas to the table to increase the value of the for prAna’s customers. It was an exciting time to be part of a growing eCommerce team.

As an Influencer Marketing manager, I led the Like Minded Businesses category and solidified relationships for prAna with brands such as Toms Shoes, Toms (toothpaste), New Belgium Brewery, 7th Generation, Annie’s Organics and many others bringing more than 10k new influencers to the program.
